Larissa Madore MD, FAAP
Dr. Madore joined Sunset Pediatrics in July 2022 after relocating to the PNW. After completing her pediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma in June 2009, she joined Northwest Pediatrics of Oklahoma City. There she practiced in primary care pediatrics. Her years at Northwest Pediatrics were very special and meaningful to her. She really enjoyed getting to know all her patients and families over the years and working hard to help them.
Dr. Madore grew up in Oklahoma City. She went to Boston University for her undergraduate education and earned a BA in History in 2000. After that she returned to Oklahoma to pursue her medical career, and spent 2 years doing some basic science research at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She then started medical school at the OUHSC and started pediatrics training after that. While practicing in Oklahoma, she also spent time teaching future pediatricians and helping to open the first pediatric urgent care clinic in Oklahoma City.
When not working, Dr. Madore enjoys spending time with her family, walking, hiking, watching sports, exploring Portland, wine tasting and eating delicious food!
Currently, Dr. Madore’s practice is open to new patients. Please contact our office about scheduling new patient appointments with her.
Michael Ericksen MD, FAAP
Dr. Ericksen has been part of Sunset Pediatrics for over 13 years. He has built an excellent reputation in the community and along with practicing at Sunset, has spent time serving on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Health Alliance, an organization in the greater Portland area devoted to the improvement and advancement of Pediatrics in the Willamette Valley. One of his greatest joys is to witness his young patients growing up – maturing from infants and toddlers to school-aged kids and adolescents. He also enjoys educating his patients and their families about habits of healthy living.
Dr. Ericksen and his family moved to Oregon after his education and residency training. He, along with his wife and four children, enjoy the great outdoors, the Pacific Northwest, and traveling together. He loves to serve others in his church callings. He also enjoys running, cycling, basketball, and all things automotive.
Currently, Dr. Ericksen’s practice is open with limited availability. Please ask our front office about scheduling new patient appointments with him.
Hilary DeVoe MD, FAAP
Dr. DeVoe has been a part of Sunset Pediatrics for over 10 years. She has established a thriving practice and built great relationships with her patients, specialists and OBs in the community. Dr. DeVoe’s experiences and education bring a well-informed perspective to the constantly changing landscape of medicine and the standard of medical practice. She enjoys seeing the growth and development of newborns and families over the first few years of life and onto childhood.
Dr. DeVoe grew up in Oregon and attended the University of Michigan for her undergrad education. She completed Medical School at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Residency at OHSU. She enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and has an adorable daughter who brings much joy to us at Sunset through stories and pictures of what she is up to.
Due to high patient volumes, Dr. DeVoe’s practice is currently closed to new patients. Please check back for updates on when she is able to take on new patients in the future.
